In Memory of Scott M. Stout

March 11, 1987 - August 7, 2024

Scott Matthew Stout, age 37, of South Minneapolis, MN, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

Scott was born March 11, 1987, in Minneapolis, the son of Steve and Debra (Dow) Stout. Scott had three amazing children and was an incredible father to Kyree, Miles and Quinn. Nothing made him happier than his children and no one could draw a bigger smile than his babies. Scott graduated from Minneapolis South High School in 2005. Ever the sports enthusiast, Scott found a love for karate at an early age, making his way to brown belt. He was always shooting hoops with his boys, and found fun and so many laughs on those basketball courts. Then there were the days with the Minneapolis Red Warriors! Scott loved playing outfield for the team, and he cherished those years. He also loved to watch the Minnesota Vikings and Timberwolves. Described as kind, loyal and funny by those who knew him best, Scott was the friend that you were grateful to have. Always the excellent listener, Scott was always there with an ear and his calm nature. While his circle of friends was small, Scott gave of himself to those he loved in a big way.

He is survived by his children Kyree, Miles, Quinn Stout; ex-wife Chenoa Stout; parents Steve & Debra Stout; sister Erin Dow; grandmother Mary Stout; nieces & nephew Sophie Wadena-Montana, Colt Stout, Lucy Stout & Aliya Thomas; many uncles, aunts, cousins & the dear friends he made throughout his life.
