Scott W. Knippenberg, age 59 of Clear Lake, WI, died unexpectedly at his home on September 10, 2025.

Scott W. Knippenberg was born on October 17, 1965 in St. Paul, MN the son of William & Donna (Bakkethun) Knippenberg. He grew up in St. Paul, and after the death of his parents was raised by his grandparents Elmer & Angeline Knippenberg, whom he loved dearly. Scott graduated from Cretin Durham High School in 1983 and was later employed at APR in St. Paul where he worked for over 20 years. During this time, he lived in Oakdale and Maplewood, MN, was married and had one daughter, Heather. In 2014, Scott moved to Clear Lake, WI with his life partner Rachel Auchampach and began working at OXBO which he enjoyed and where he met many friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling in various leagues, taking trips to Las Vegas, watching the Minnesota Vikings & NASCAR, with Dale Ernhardt being his favorite. Scott especially loved being home, watching movies, grilling out, playing with his dogs Daisy & Peanut, and spending time with his friends.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents William & Donna Knippenberg; & grandparents; Elmer & Angeline Knippenberg.

He is survived by; his daughter, Heather (Justine) Olson, and grandchild, Regan Olson. Also, his life partner, Rachel Auchampach, step children: Amber (Perry) Mason, Logan Clark, & Kelly (Rachel) Morden, and step grandchildren: Perry, Helen, Gunner, Keith, & Angel Mason, Mialynn & Maverick Morden, & Fallon Olson.

There will be a Celebration of Scott’s life on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1 - 4 pm at the Scheuermann Funeral Home in Clear Lake, WI.
