Sharon Kay Sullivan, age 64, of Lac Courte Oreilles, WI, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025.

Sharon Kay Sullivan was born January 9, 1961, in Waukegan IL, daughter of Mary Rose Fleming & Donald Sullivan. She graduated from Mount Senario College in Ladysmith in 1984 with a degree in accounting.

Sharon worked as an accountant and fiscal analyst for several companies in the North Chicago metro area. She enjoyed traveling the world doing financial audits for her company, with Milan, Italy and Brussels, Belgium being her favorites cities. Sharon was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. She made many lifelong friends in both her professional career and beloved “fun job” tending bar.

She is survived by her son Nicholas Hanson; grandchildren Alexander Belille, Alexis Belille, Archie Martin & Giiweyaash Hanson; sisters Melody Fleming & Dianne Sullivan; uncle John Fleming; auntie Agnes Fleming; and many nephews & nieces.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Donald & Mary; husband Stephen Dickson; brothers Daniel Sullivan & Michael Sullivan; and sisters Kathleen Rogers & Rebecca Sullivan.

Tribal Funeral Rites will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 26, 2025, at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Chato “Ombishkebines” Gonzales will officiate. Burial will be in New Post Cemetery. Visitation will begin at sundown, Thursday, December 25th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center.

Honorary casket bearers will be David Fleming Sr., Michael Sullivan, Niizhoo Sullivan & Preston Sullivan.

Casket bearers will be Brian Fleming, Greg Fleming, Jason Schlender, Justin Schlender, Frankie St. Germaine & Jonah Sullivan.
