Stephen “Steve” Allan Doolin, age 74, of Rice Lake, WI, died Thursday, October 16, 2025 in Marshfield, WI with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 25, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Marilyn (Miller) Doolin. Steve graduated from Harold L. Richards High School in Oaklawn, Illinois. He graduated from Washburn Trade School in painting and decorating in Chicago.

Steve was married to Donna Wypysek on December 13, 1969 in Worth, Illinois. Steve worked for the Union for many years in painting and decorating and also dairy farmed in the Township of Doyle. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and the classic cars. He enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, being outdoors, restoring tractors, fixing and painting anything he could get his hands on.

Steve enjoyed being with his dog, Harley. He was kind, strong, hard working, and just overall a great dad and grandpa.

Steve was a wonderful provider and a great teacher.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna Doolin; 4 children, Tim Doolin (Jackie Levandowski), Brian Doolin, Christine Doolin and Angela (Shawn) McKeever; 5 grandchildren, Cody, Carter, Dylon, Aeydon, and Mia; 3 great grandchildren, Cody, Kason and Theo; a sister, Karen Doolin.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Conner Doolin; and his parents, John and Marilyn Doolin.

A private family celebration of life will be held.
