Steven Mark Baker Age 65, of Birchwood, WI, died Friday, April 12, 2024 in Marshfield, WI.

He was born on November 9, 1958 to Jacob and Audrey (Davis) Baker.

Steve graduated from Winter High School and then entered the United States Army and was later Honorably Discharged as a Sergeant First Class. Steve worked for Rice Lake Weighing Systems for many years. He was married to Misty Brown Tesch on May 29, 2021 in Birchwood. He enjoyed fishing, working on vehicles, bonfires, camping and loved being with his family. Steve had many friends and coworkers that he will miss.

He is survived by his wife, Misty Baker; 4 sons, Billy Baker, Jacob Baker, Derick Tesch (Miranda) and Andrew Eddy; 5 grandchildren; his mom, Audrey Davis; 2 brothers, Dale (Cheryl) Baker and Christopher Roalson; 3 sisters, Debbie (Gary) Penzkover, Sarah Baker (Justin) and Ashley Baker; his mother-in-law, Barb Sobczak; brother-in-law, David Rewey; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jaylynn Tesch; his father, Jacob Baker; a brother, Andrew Baker; a sister, Kathy Curtis.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
