Susan Kaye Holden, age 67, of Rice Lake, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2026 in Chetek, WI. Born on September 17, 1958 to Edward and Eleanore (Eliason) Talaska in Superior, WI.

Sue was a graduate of Superior Senior High School in 1976.

Sue grew up in Superior and later moved to Rice Lake, WI to raise her family. She spent most of her later years working with and caring for the elderly.

Sue has worked the last 5 years at the Rice Lake Senior Center. She was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan. She enjoyed watching many games with her children.

She is survived by her son Casey (Laura) Holden, daughter Alyssa Holden, her brother David (Luann) Talaska, her sister Heather Krysiak, her grandchildren Adrianna Hamm, Noah Hamm, Avery Holden, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Eleanore Talaska, her sisters Mary Kaye Talaska, Theresa Talaska, Debra Peterson, and her brother and sister-in-law Mike and Barb Talaska, and her niece Mara Kaye Krysiak.

She will be celebrated at a later date with her family at her favorite campground, Totogatic Campground in Minong.
