In Memory of Thomas England

July 17, 1942 - April 20, 2025

Thomas Raymond England, lovingly known as Tom, Dad, and Papa, passed away on April 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness. Born on July 17, 1942, in St. Paul, MN. Tom was raised in Siren, WI, where he graduated with the class of 1960.

Tom was the son of Raymond "Moe" and Frances “Fanny” England. Also preceded in death were Tom’s Father and Mother-in-law Bede and Lois Boll. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Boll) England. Tom and Betsy shared a special connection and would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this coming September. Together, they raised two children: Kari Worthington (Brad) and Justin England (Michelle).

Tom was Papa to three grandchildren—Jay, and Jonathan Worthington, and Everly England. His grandchildren brought him joy, laughter, and pride. Tom was the eldest of four siblings and is survived by Diane Strand (Vernan), Jim England (Debbie), Steve England (Teresa), and Cindy England.

Tom is also survived by brothers-in-law Joseph (Linda) Boll, Arthur (Nancy) Boll and sister-in-law Bonnie Klein (Tim), Tom’s Aunt, Lida Nordquist and Uncle Roy Fahland, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A quiet and humble man, Tom never sought the spotlight but was always a steady, dependable presence full of quiet strength. He was a true family provider, loyal to those he loved.

Tom proudly served his country in the Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. After retirement he continued his service to the community as an active and valued member of the Siren Lions Club.

A true Wisconsin sports fan, he could always be found cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers and his 13 time NFL Champion Green Bay Packers. He rarely missed a game and would always let the refs know when they made the wrong call.

Tom had a lifelong love for the outdoors. He found peace and purpose in nature, especially while hunting, fishing, and putzing around the yard. This is where he and Justin, as his favorite hunting buddy,— together with Tom’s brother Jim, spent countless hours either in the woods or on a boat.

Tom's dedication to service and community, his love for family, and his gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Rest in peace, Tom. Your presence in our lives was a gift.
