Thomas John Shaide Age 36, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday, August 30, 2024 at his home.

He was born on March 14, 1988 in Rice Lake, WI to John and Barbara (Anderson) Shaide. Tom graduated from Rice Lake High School in 2006. He worked as a chef in California, Green Bay, WI and in the Rice Lake surrounding area. He enjoyed cycling, fishing, hunting, snowboarding, tied flies and cooking.

He is survived by his father, John Shaide; a brother Cody Shaide (Betsy Heidt); a half sister, Melanie (Dustin) Nowak; a nephews, Ethan; a niece, Rachel; his grandfather, Bud Anderson; many uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Shaide; his grandparents, Margaret Anderson and Donald & Betty Shaide.

A celebration of his life will be held from 1-4PM Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, with interment in Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake.
