Thomas Stuart Hagstrom, age 85, of Blaine, Minnesota, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Tom was born on July 20, 1940, in Alexandria, Minnesota, to Carl and Ida Hagstrom. He was later blessed with a stepfather, Manuel Erickson, and grew up in Frederic, Wisconsin. On November 4, 1962, Tom married the love of his life, Josie Quast, and together they built a family filled with love and laughter.

Tom worked for many years at Superior Plating, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, walking and cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers. Tom had the gift of gab—he could strike up a conversation with anyone and was always ready with a story or a candid opinion.

He will be deeply missed for his humor, his storytelling, and his ability to talk with people wherever he went.

Tom is survived by his wife Josie; daughters Connie (Frank) and Shannon (Randy); grandchildren Nicole, Olivia, Emily, and Joseph; and his faithful dog Suzi. He had children from a previous marriage, Libby and Curt, along with additional grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Jim (Ruth) and Judy and all those who went before us.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph of the Lakes, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes, MN, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. and a rosary at 10:00am in the chapel. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
