His passion for helping others was evident in his service, including his dedicated work for the annual Taco Feed.
Beyond his commitment to public safety, Tom cherished time spent on Balsam Lake. He loved fishing and touring the lake on the pontoon boat. He and June especially enjoyed entertaining friends and family at the cabin they owned on the lake. He was also a passionate supporter of his grandson, Scott, and took great pleasure in watching him play hockey and race motocross. Tom will be remembered by all who knew him for his kind spirit, generous heart, and the fact that he always had a wonderful story to tell.
