In Memory of Timmy L. Johnson
We were not ready to give Timmy to our Lord, but on January 10, 2025, Tim declared he was ready to go to his eternal home.
His body was ravaged by cancer and many other complications, and yet he tried as best he could to win this fight. But in the end his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ called him home. He was listening to one of his favorite songs, “Come to the Altar” and surrounded with the love of his wife, Heather, son, Dakoda, daughter Cheyanne, brother Mark and Pastor Jeff Martin as he left this earth.
Tim was a loving father and will be greatly missed by his wife Heather and all his children: Dakoda(14), Maddy(12), Logan(9), T.J.(3) Cheyanne(23) and grandson Sterling(4).
Also left behind are Norma and Ken (Tim’s Mom), Wes and Beryl (Tim’s Dad), Jennifer (Tim’s Mother-in-Law), his brother Mark (Gail) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tim overcame a lot of struggles during his 53 years on this earth. He was an avid outdoorsman – fishing, hunting, boating and camping with his family whenever he could. Family always came first for Tim. He loved to make people laugh and smile and always brought joy into people’s lives. And he was a man who would help others in any way he could.
Heather and her young children are in need of financial support to cover medical and funeral expenses and ongoing living expenses. Please help if you can.
There is an established GoFundMe page for Tim’s family. If you would like to make a gift please go to: https://www.gofundme.com/f/tims-battle-with-leukemia-family-support
We will be celebrating Tim’s life on Thursday, January 30th at The Refuge Church, 724 Leonard Street, Chetek, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held from 3-4 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 & a meal fellowship following the service.
