Victor Fak, age 96, a resident of Spooner, died on Monday, October 23, 2017, at the Maple Ridge Care Center with his daughter at his side.

Victor was born on February 6, 1921, in Johnston City, Illinois to parents Matthew and Mary (Koroshak) Fak. On May 27, 1943, he was united in marriage to Anna B. Strah in Chicago, Illinois.

Victor is survived by his children: Barb (Don) Schmidt, Pat (Bill) Gromer, and Bill (Donna) Fak, 9 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife
