Violet M. Alwes, age 33, of Cadott, WI died Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Osseo, WI.

Violet Marie Saltz was born November 4, 1985 at 4:01 a.m. in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of Robert Saltz and Linda (Bovey) Bender. She attended Harvard and Harlem Middle School, Hayward High School and graduated from Northwood High School in Minong. She was united in marriage to Ryan Alwes on October 1, 2004 in Superior, WI. Violet loved the outdoors. She especially enjoyed gardening, nights around the bon fire, camping and cooking. Above all, Violet loved spending time with her family and friends. Her heart was big and she welcomed everyone for a genuine loving hug. She had a beautiful smile that would light up a room. Her smile will always be remembered and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Ryan; sons Christian and Ethan Alwes; mother Linda (Tim) Bender; in-laws Kim and Barbara Alwes; brothers James Saltz, Robbie Saltz, Jacob Bender, Anthony Bender, Zach Bender; sisters JoAnna Knutsen, Susie Bender, Charlotte Bender, Rachel Bender and April Bender.

Violet was preceded in death by her father Robert Saltz.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Robert Place will officiate. Burial will be in Wascott Kreide Cemetery. A celebration of Violets life will be held following at the Wascott Town Hall, where a continuation of friendship with a fellowship luncheon and celebration of shared memories will take place at 3:00 p.m.

Honorary casket bearers will be Carol Beaudion, Nathan Knutsen, Michelle Saltz and Robbie Saltz.

Casket bearers will be Ryan Alwes, Mike Alwes, Johnathan Knauss, James Saltz, Kevin Satz and Kevin Saltz Jr.
