Virginia Ann Sandridge, age 84, of Sarona, WI, died Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 7, 1942 in Rice Lake, WI to John and Orva (Coates) Busick.

Virginia graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1960 and then attended Cosmetology School in Eau Claire, WI. She was married to LeRoy Sandridge on December 2, 1961 in Mikana, WI. Virginia was a hairdresser, worked for Birchwood Manufacturing in Rice Lake and then worked alongside her husband as an Administrative Assistant for L&L Excavating.

Virginia’s interests and hobbies included - church activities, local government activities, traveling, reading, gardening, food preservation, feeding and watching the birds, and socializing with others. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and snowmobiling.

Virginia loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Virginia was a loving, generous, kind, and a very supportive woman.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa (Roger) Bell and Tami Dennis; 6 grandchildren, James Whitehead, Jonathon (Lacey) Amburgey, Shannon (John) Amburgey, Cheyne Taylor, Jordan (Aimee) Dennis and Justin Dennis; 6 great grandchildren, Abby, Nora, Payton, Raegan, Jaylin and Asonia; a sister, Judie Hanson; 2 sisters-in-law, Jane Wolff and Mary Sands; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Sandridge; 2 brothers, John Busick Jr and William Busick; 7 half brothers and 1 half sister.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Sarona United Methodist Church in Sarona, WI, Rev. Chris Van Beek officiating, with interment in the Sarona Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4-7PM Monday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI and for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church on Tuesday.
