In Memory of William D. Anderson Jr.


August 2, 1954 - February 20, 2024

William "Bill" Dale Anderson Jr., age 69, passed away on February 20, 2024, with his loving family by his side in Chetek, Wisconsin.

Bill was born to William D. Anderson, Sr. and Joyce E (Dupont) Anderson on August 2, 1954, in Evanston, Illinois.

Bill attended Conant High School in Hoffman Estates, Illinois in 1972. He went to SIU School of Nursing and received a Bachelor of Science and a Registered Nurse certification. Bill went on to work at Barnes Hospital as a CRNA and Anesthetist. He was an entrepreneur and was the Owner/President of Chain of Lakes Anesthesia and Anderson Beef Farms of Chetek. Bill was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also had a green thumb and kept a wonderful vegetable and flower garden. Bill loved spending time in Hawaii and cruising there. Family was most important to Bill, he loved every moment he could spend with them. A large achievement of Bill's was that he was an award-winning United States Gymnast who competed for the USA against the Russian National Team. Bill was a devoted, loving, hard-working family man. He will be missed beyond words.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William D. Anderson, Sr. and Joyce E (Dupont) Anderson, and in-laws, Vincent Victor Saena and Adelaide Barbara Saena.

Bill is survived by his wife, Gail J. Anderson (Saena), children, Ryan (Meredith) Russel Filip, William Dale Anderson III, Brian (Rosie) Matthew Anderson, Amy Joy Anderson, and Erika (Benjamin) Lindsey Anderson, grandchildren, Natalie Joyce Cole, Addison Kailee Filip, Nicholas Vincent Anderson, and Brooklynn Rose Anderson, siblings, Joel (Mary) Lee Anderson and Susan (Randy) K. Erickson and sons - Justin (Sarah Grace) Thomas Erickson and Tyler (Noel) James Erickson, siblings-in-law, James Saena and son - Michael Vincent Saena, and Mary (Wayne) and son - Blake Robert Lindemann, as well as many other loving family and friends.

The family invites all those who would like to pay condolences at Noon on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Funeral Home in Chetek, Wisconsin. A short service will be held at 1:00 PM with additional time for visitation after.
