William “Bill” Peter Smith, age 67 of Dresser, Wisconsin, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at his home in Dresser.

Bill was born on July 19, 1956 to Raymond Smith and Alice (Gay) Mesecher in Wichita, Kansas. Bill attended Taylors Falls High School. In 1990, Bill was united in marriage to Angie Martell at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Somerset, WI. He worked for the union as a bricklayer. Bill also worked in construction and farming.

Bill was involved in his community through different associations. He was in the Polk County Sportsman’s Club, Osceola snowmobile club and Wisconsin bear association. He was also very involved with his community at Wards, which was very important to him.

Bill enjoyed hunting, farming, riding four-wheeler, playing pool, being with all of his friends at Wards and around the town and was an avid Packer fan. When Bill was unable to go out, he loved his connections via social media. He will be dearly missed by many.

Bill is survived by his wife, Angie; siblings, John, Melvin (Sam), Brenda, Jim (Laurel), Michelle and Ercell; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Bill is preceded in death by his father, Raymond (Florence) Smith; mother, Alice Mesecher; sister, Cynn Marie and sister-in-law, Kay Martell.
