Mąąnąpe hųųc kiriga (Bear Warrior who returned), William “Speedy” Larsen, passed away on October 31, 2023.

Speedy was a proud Marine Corp. veteran, serving in special forces.

Speedy is survived by his life partner, Jean Androsky, as well as her children and grandchildren whom he adored, his sister, Rhonda (Quarderer) Funmaker, and her children: Sarina Falcon, Christian Holst, Sequoia Garvin, John Holst Jr., Molly Quarderer, and Sampson Funmaker.

Speedy is preceded in death by his father, Lenard Larson of LCO, and his mother, Lilac Goodbear of the Ho-Chunk Nation. Along with his paternal grandparents Bill and Edna (Decorah) Goodbear.

Traditional burial services lead by Keller Paap will be held at 10:00 AM Sunday, November 5th, at LCO Big Drum Hall: 8831N Round Lake School Rd, Hayward, WI 54843.
