Yvonne Kay Larson, age 91, of Rice Lake, WI, died Thursday, October 16, 2025 in Rice Lake. She was born on May 8, 1934 in Bruce, WI to Loyd and Iva (Hegna) Krahenbuhl.

Yvonne graduated from the Rice Lake High School in 1952. She was married to Wallace “Wally” Larson and he preceded her in death in 1987.

Yvonne was the matron and cook at the Barron County Sheriff's Department while her husband was the Sheriff for Barron County. She also worked for Hilltop Daycare in Rice Lake for many years.

Yvonne was a fun and loving lady, always had a beautiful smile on her face and enjoyed life to the fullest. After the death of her husband, she became very adventurous and did a wildlife safari by herself in Africa and enjoyed camping in her airstream for many years.

Yvonne also had over 36 beautiful years with Tom Ricci of Rice Lake. They enjoyed each other's company and loved to spend time outdoors.

She is survived by a daughter, Becky Rajek; a son, Brian (Denise) Larson; 3 grandchildren, Andy (Jessica) Rajek, Tyler (Amy) Larson and Drew (Emily) Larson; 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a special companion, Tom Ricci.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally Larson; a son-in-law, Dan Rajek; a grandson, Matthew Rajek; a granddaughter, Kimberly Rajek; her parents, Loyd and Iva Krahenbuhl; and 2 brothers, Jim and Rich Krahenbuhl.
