WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) -- New criminal charges, including physical abuse of a child, have been filed in two new Washburn County Circuit Court criminal cases against former Renew Roofing owner, James Emerson, of Sarona, WI.
Emerson was charged, convicted, and sentenced for child enticement in 2024 in Washburn County.
The new charges against Emerson also allege that he provided a private cell phone to a child and instructed the child to hide it from their adult guardian, despite Emerson being subject to a court order prohibiting him from having unsupervised contact with juveniles at the time.
