This Monday will mark DrydenWire's 2 1/2 year anniversary since our website and Facebook page first went 'Live' on October 1, 2015. Yesterday, March 30, 2018, our Facebook page hit 10,000 'Likes'.
Although everything we publish gets posted on our Website first, we have utilized our Facebook page for two main reasons:
- To have a place where people can voice their opinions about a story and have a discussion in our comment section; gone are the days of the Letter-to-the-Editor, now people can state their opinions in real-time.
- A way to let our Facebook followers know when we publish a new post.
We want to thank our amazing advertisers that share our belief that news & information should be free to everyone - we would not be where we are today without them.
We also thank you, our readers, for believing in us. We average around 10,000 unique users every day on our website and in the last 911 days since our launch, have averaged just over 11 new Facebook Likes & Followers per day.
We are still just getting going and will have our entirely new website up in a few weeks allowing us, for example, to have multiple categories and sub-categories. If you want to read just Crime & Court news you can click on that tab. If you want to read just Burnett County news, you can click on that sub-tab. We will update everyone when we get a better idea of how that will look in the coming weeks.
But for now, we just want to say thank you for your kindness and continued support.
