In Memory of Beverly M. Rawlings

August 3, 1933 - July 5, 2025

Beverly “Bev” was born on August 3, 1933 to Werner and Bonita (Knorr) Lindstrom in St. Paul, MN. Bev attended Johnson High School and graduated with the class of 1951. Bev married her high school sweetheart, Robert “Bob” Rawlings, on June 7, 1952 and transferred with Bob to Washington State as Bob was serving with the Army in the Korean War. After Bob’s discharge from the Army, they moved back to White Bear Lake, MN and Bev became a secretary for the Great Northern Railroad. When Todd and Sue were adopted, Bev became a stay at home mom and in 1971, they moved to Osceola, WI. Once the kids were off to college, Bev started working in the Stillwater, MN area as an office manager at Oak Glen Golf Course for many years. She then managed a dress shop and finally finishing her career working for American Greetings at the Marketplace Grocery store in St Croix Falls, WI.

Bev volunteered many years at both the Osceola and St. Croix Medical Centers. She was also very involved for over 40 years with the St. Croix Valley Women’s golf league in St Croix Falls, WI. Bev enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, travel and Christmas baking. She even tried to teach Sue how to bake (which didn’t worked out too well). Bev’s kind heart, giving spirit, infectious laugh and friendly smile will be missed by many.

Bev is survived by her children, Sue (Amy) Luesebrink-Rawlings: Todd (Rita) Rawlings; grandchildren, Joshua and Ryan Rawlings; great-grandchildren, Leo, Freja and Mason Rawlings; sister, Joyce (Norm) Petersen; brother, Don (Jean) Lindstrom: many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Bev is preceded in death by her parents, Werner and Bonita Lindstrom; husband of 71 years, Bob and sister, Lois (Phil) Peterson.
