With full hearts and deep sorrow, we share the passing of Brittany Nicole Coon, a beloved daughter, sister, auntie, fur-mom, and friend, who left this world far too soon on May 20, 2025.

Brittany was born September 23, 1988, in Rice Lake, WI, the daughter of Spencer & Therese (Broeckert) Coon. Her light was radiant and unforgettable. With a quick wit, a bold heart, and a soul full of love, she brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Whether offering comfort, cracking jokes, or standing strong in her truth, Brittany had a way of making everyone feel seen, loved, and completely at home. She shared once-in-a-lifetime bonds with those she loved — especially her best friend and chosen sister, Melissa, who stood by her side through every season of life with laughter, loyalty, and love. Brittany lived for the simple but sacred moments — cooking for the people she loved, spending time with family and friends, and sharing every day with her faithful protector, Rocky. She adored anything that sparkled, especially if it matched the shine she carried within. To know Brittany was to be greeted with joy. No matter where she went — Green Bay, LCO, Manitowoc — her name was always called out with love and excitement. We imagine that the same joyful shout welcomed her into paradise. Angels like her belong there.

She is survived by her fur baby Rocky; her father Spencer Coon and mother Therese Coon; brothers Daniel and Gabriel Coon; sister Rebecca Winnen (Kirtis); niece Elynna and nephews Beau and Hudson; best friend Melissa Novak; and her fiancée Brian Reseburg, who was blessed to grow from friend to soulmate during their five beautiful years together. Brian and Baby Puppy Rocky will forever hold her memory close until they meet again.

A Celebration of Brittany’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward, WI. Rev. David Innerebner will officiate. Burial will be in the Coon Family Cemetery in Whitefish. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 27th at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers will be George Coon, Jerilyn Coon, Raynell Coon, Valeka Coon, Melissa Novak, Savannah Oshkeshequoam, Angelita Stevens, Esperanza Yanez, Locadia Yanez, Marcia Yanez & Rachel Yanez.

Casket Bearers will be Doug Coon, Kyril Coon, Makoons Coons, Red Coon, Richard Oshkeshequoam, Vincent Stevens Sr., Javier Yanez & Kirtis Winnen.
