In Memory of Delores E. (Berg) Anderson
Delores Elaine (Berg) Anderson, 90, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Delores was born on February 18, 1935, in Wisconsin. She graduated from Milltown High School and soon afterward married her husband of 68 years, Roger Anderson, on May 29, 1954. A few years after they were married, Roger and Delores purchased a small dairy farm in North Valley where they raised their five children.
Delores was a stay-at-home mom until their youngest child started school. She then worked at various local jobs. Her last and longest employment was at Melin Pharmacy in Milltown and later Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, helping customers. Delores was a lifelong member at North Valley Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed quilting, making lefse, and participating in various ladies' aid activities. She was a woman of deep Christian faith. She loved the Lord, studied her Bible, prayed for family and friends, and taught her children how to humbly walk with god.
Delores always had a large vegetable garden which provided year-round food for the family, but her true passion was flower gardening. She loved flowers and during the spring and summer, could often be found outside either pulling those pesky weeds or enjoying a cup of coffee among the blooms. In the fall and winter, she enthusiastically cheered on the Green Bay Packers. She also loved dolls of all sizes and had a large collection that her daughters helped dress for the different holidays and seasons.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Roger L. Anderson; grandson Walter Johnson; parents, Henry and Viona (Pautsch) Berg; sister, Elsie Hacker; brothers, LaVern, LeRoy, Donald, and Duane Berg; and sister-in-law, Shirley Berg.
She leaves to celebrate her memory her children, Wayne (Susan) Anderson, Pamela (Ricky) Johnson, Mark (Lisa) Anderson, Cindy (Michael) Mabry, Sandra (Thomas) Mabry, brother; Harvey Berg, sister; Judy Glenna, brothers-in-law; Verle Hacker, James Glenna, sisters-in-law; Susan Jeanine Berg, Sharon Berg, and a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Milltown Cemetery.
