Donna Lou Elaine Kemmits, age 92, of Radisson, WI, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024.

Donna Lou was born June 16, 1932, in New Richland, MN the daughter of George and Adelheide (Pick) Engel. She grew up and graduated high school in Freeborn. MN. Donna Lou was united in marriage to Richard Kemmits in 1954 and was a successful dairy farmer for many years. Upon retiring from farming, she worked as a home health care aide for several years until retirement.

She is survived by her three children Bill (Rita) Kemmits of Exeland, Jane Cunningham of Lawton, OK & Michael Kemmits of New Richland, MN; grandchildren Ashley (Mikey) Cunningham, Sarah & Scott Kemmits, and Victoria Kemmits; great grandchildren Reilynn & Justin Layton, Ethan, Adley, Ary & Cameron Cunningham; foster grandchildren Chloe & Carter; sisters Beverly Schmidt of Albert Lea, MN & Bonnie Engel of New Richland, MN; and brother Pike Engel of Freeborn, MN.

Donna Lou was preceded in death by her parents George & Adelheide; husband Richard; brothers Cleon Engel & Gene Engel; grandsons Christopher Kemmits & Daniel Kemmits; sisters-in-law Elaine Engel & Darlene Engel; and son-in-law Russell Cunningham.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June18, 2025 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Rev. Mark Bartlett will officiate. Burial will be held in Radisson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
