Eugene “Gene” Pittman, age 84 of Clear Lake WI, passed away peacefully under hospice care at his home on Thursday, September 4, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Eugene Harry Pittman was born on June 11, 1941 in Amery, WI, the son Harry & Doris (Blair) Pittman. He grew up in Reeve, WI, was confirmed at West Akers Lutheran Church and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1959. Gene was married to Yvonne J. Martin on July 23, 1960 at the United Methodist Church in Clear Lake. Together they made their home in Reeve to farm and raised two children, Jodi & Jamie. In 1964 Gene moved his family to St. Paul, MN where he worked for many years as a Maintenance Millwright at Waldorf Paper Company. In 1980 he moved to his home in Clear Lake township and retired from Waldorf after 41 years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, doing jigsaw puzzles and listening to a wide variety of music. He will be especially known for creating beautiful carved diamond willow walking sticks. Gene will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

brothers, Gaylord & Leslie Pittman; son in law, Bernie Anderson; brother in law, Dan Olson; niece & nephews, Darla Olson, Dustin Pittman & Charlie Pittman

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 11 am - 2 pm at the Scheuermann Funeral Home in Clear Lake, WI

Interment will be on September 21, 2025 at Clear Lake Cemetery following the Visitation.

Family and friends are invited to Raising the Bar Event Center in Clear Lake following the interment.
