Gary Arthur Fredrickson, age 74, of Rice Lake, WI, died with his family by his side on Friday, June 13, 2025 in Rice Lake.

He was born on May 31, 1951 in Rice Lake to Arthur and Agnes (Tvedt) Fredrickson. Gary graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1969 and was married to Kristy Anderson August 11, 1973 in Barron County, WI. He worked for the Rice Lake District as a custodian for over 36 years. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, deer, grouse and turkey hunting, fishing in Canada and being outdoors to enjoy the wildlife. He loved watching the Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers. Gary also enjoyed going to the casinos, mowing the lawn and driving around the area looking for wildlife.

He is survived by his wife, Kristy Fredrickson; 2 sons, Jason (Jennifer) Fredrickson and Scott (Tanya) Fredrickson; 4 grandchildren, Madison, Justin, Austin and Kayla; 2 sister, Janet Janisin and Lori (Marty) Becker; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Agnes Fredrickson; 2 brothers Neil and David; and a sister, Carol Crotteau.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:30PM Monday, June 30, 2025 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held from 4-6:30PM Monday, June 30 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals.
