Gladys Jean Webster, 82, of Cumberland peacefully passed away, June 3, 2025, at Care and Rehab in Cumberland. She was born November 11, 1942, in Cumberland to Edward and Alma (Nelson) Shields. Gladys graduated from Cumberland High School in 1961.

She was married in Cumberland on November 15, 1963, to John Webster who preceded her in death on November 19, 2016.

Gladys enjoyed fishing, tending her garden, and going for rides in the country. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, and a wonderful grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Travis) Gibson of Cumberland; grandchild, John Gibson; brother, George (Audrey) Shields; sister, Ruth Amdahl; nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Gladys was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Alma Shields; brothers: Walter, Lester, and LLoyd; sister, Alice Savage.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, June 12, 2025, at First Lutheran Church, Cumberland, WI with Rev. Timothy Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland and one hour before.
