James Matthew Watts, age 37, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday, August 15, 2025 at his home. He was born on May 22, 1988 in Milwaukee, WI to John and Kimberly (Stallings) Watts. James graduated from Rice Lake High School in 2006 and then graduated from WITC in Rice Lake with a degree in Welding. He worked for Thomas Precision Machining in Rice Lake for many years. James enjoyed his daughters, and going fishing. He was a caring man and would give to others in need.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Lilly Watts and Leah Watts; his father, John Watts (Amanda Fortney); his mother, Kimberly (Robert) Emery; a brother, Wayne Emery; a sister, Heather Watts (Lane Kershner); a niece, Adalynn Watts-Kershner; many uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John Watts. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, with Chaplain Cody officiating. Visitation will be held from 11AM-1PM on Tuesday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals.
