Larry Eugene Wiese, age 84, of Rice Lake, WI, died Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at his home. He was born on September 14, 1940 in Rice Lake.

Larry graduated from Cameron High School. He worked on the family farm growing up, Lakeside Truck Body in Rice Lake, Jennie-O Turkey Store in Barron for many years and also worked for Menards for a short time. Larry was married to Linda Johnson on June 9, 1961 in Rice Lake. He loved to hunt, snowmobile, ride ATV and going camping. He was on the Bear Lake Volunteer Fire Department. Larry could build anything, and fix anything. He was always available when someone needed help.

He is survived by 2 sons, Brentt Wiese and Cory (Tami) Wiese; 7 grandchildren, Sara, Jon, Becky, Travis, Cody, Cole and Colton; 14 great grandchildren, Holden, Aiden, Abigail, Remington, Max, Henry, Letti, Aubreanna, Abigail, Easton, Cameron, Kendall, Elowyn and Jacob; a brother, Bob Wiese; 3 sisters, Phyllis Bauch, Mary (Steve) Krumenauer and Cherri Murray; many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wiese; a son, Craig Wiese; his parents; 3 brothers, Russell, Irvin and Glen.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, John Brunclik officiating, with interment in the Sumner Cemetery in Cameron, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals.
