SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) – An undercover online sex sting investigation conducted in 2022 by the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Police Department with assistance from the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in a felony conviction for Donald Dahlke, age 38, of Hayward, WI.
Dahlke sent messages of a sexual nature to an online profile that was being operated by an undercover officer. Dahlke was told he was communicating with a 15-year-old female, and he arranged to meet in Hayward, WI. When he arrived there, he was arrested.
Dahlke was sentenced during a recent Sawyer County circuit court hearing.
