WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) — A Spooner, WI man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say a litter of puppies in his care died from starvation and severe neglect.
According to the criminal complaint, the puppies were found emaciated, with one reportedly decapitated, and their mother dog in a severely malnourished state. A necropsy revealed the puppies had no food in their stomachs, suffered liver damage, and were infested with parasites.
