Carolyn Beckwith, age 75, passed away at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Chetek on April 27, 2025.

Carolyn was born in Rice Lake on February 8, 1950 to Charles and Effie Beckwith. She graduated from Barron High School in 1968.

She married John King in 1971 and moved to Virgina Beach, Virgina and worked at the Navy Exchange for 30 years. They were later divorced. She retired and moved back to Barron in 2004.

She is survived by her sisters, Kristine Beckwith and Marilyn Cutting; nephew, Benjamin Clayton; as well as cousins.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service for Carolyn will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
