In Memory of Fredrick D. Tourville

January 19, 1963 - August 20, 2025

Freddie was born on the bitter cold night of January 19, 1963 to Donald and Shirley (Olson) Tourville at the old Anker Hospital in St. Paul, MN. On August 31, 2025, Freddie’s body succumbed to injuries from a truck accident which occurred August 20, 2025 in rural Polk County, Wisc.

After spending much of his childhood living on the East Side of St. Paul, MN Freddie moved to his father’s home town of Amery, WI. It is here that Freddie made his home.

Freddie served in the U.S. Navy after which he returned to Amery. He became a father, an uncle and a Papa. In 2009 he met Linda the love of his life and with her by his side he devoted his life to the care of his father and to his passion—fishing.

Freddie’s memory will continue to remind us all to cherish good friends and good times, enjoy the simple pleasures in life and to embrace all nature.

He was an avid agate hunter his whole life and took pride in his beautiful collection of all kinds of agates. His true passion though was fishing. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall Freddie could be found on the ice, water or shoreline spending immeasurable time fishing and thinking up ways to keep anyone else from finding his fishing spots. He had a hard head and a soft heart.

Freddie was preceded in death by grandparents, Alfred and Hazel (Marcotte) Tourville and Ole and Florence Olson; his mother, Shirley Ann (Olson) Tourville; and by his sister, Donna Mae (Abel) Hunt. He will be sadly missed by his girlfriend of 15 years Linda Lingerfelt and her granddaughter Audrey. Freddie is survived by his father, Donald; brother, Ronald Tourville; and sister, Lori (Tourville) Carlson. Fred is also survived by his daughters, Melodie and Michaela. Freddie had a huge family of cousins, nephews, nieces and close friends whom he loved very much and by whom he will be forever missed.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, WI.
