In Memory of Lloyd A. Wallace


October 10, 1940 - July 21, 2025

Lloyd Alvin Wallace, 84, Minong, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at St. Croix Health and Rehab in New Richmond, WI.

Lloyd was born on October 10, 1940 in Minong, WI to Walter and Leona (Smith) Wallace. Lloyd served his country in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Germany and England from 1958-1962. He married Audrey Denninger on November 10, 1962. They were blessed with three children, Sandra, Denise and Jonathan. Lloyd worked for 32 years with Century Tel and as a real estate agent for 26 years.

Lloyd enjoyed fishing, golfing, stock car racing, and spending time with his family. He also served his local community as an EMT, volunteer fire fighter, and as president and board member of the Village of Minong.

He is survived by his wife Audrey, Minong; children Sandra (Howie) Glenz of Eau Claire, WI, Denise (Bill) Frahm of Minong, and Jonathan (Shauna) Wallace of Minong; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild on the way, and 1 great great-grandchild; sisters Phyllis Brown of Spooner and Gloria Carr of Minong; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Leona Wheeler and Walter Wallace, stepfather Bob Wheeler; granddaughter Britani Radzak; sisters Martha (Bill) Visger and Carol Pierce; nephew Frank Pierce; Uncles Ken and Harold Smith; Aunt Sylvia Block; brother-in-law Pete Carr; and other close family members.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:00am at Calvary Lutheran Church, 675 Shell Creek Rd. Minong, WI. Burial with military rites will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Minong. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
